Diego Milito claims that Juventus will suffer a defeat

Former Inter Milan striker Diego Milito claims that Juventus will suffer a defeat against his former club in one of the biggest matches of the season.

Inter will come into the game keen to regain the form from the early part of the campaign. Back then, Roberto Mancini’s team lookedlike the team to beat. Several consecutive draws have left Inter a couple of points behind leaders Roma. The situation could get worse if they suffer dropped points against Juventus, who have been extremely poor and devoid of any sort of consistency this season.

The sale of important players like Carlos Tevez and Andrea Pirlo in one summer has been cited as the reason for Juventus’ poor form. Slow signs of improvement have become evident over the last few weeks that it would take a lot more in order to regain former strength. The team are almost certain to concede defeat in the Italian Serie A title race for the first time in more than four years. Inter have won five out of the seven starting fixtures whereas Juventus have been able to get only two wins so far. Former Nerazzurri, Milito, says that he will be cheering for the team from Milan.

“I hope that Inter win and in my view that can do it. They had a great start to the season and are fighting to win the Scudetto. I’ll be watching from home and cheering on the Nerazzurri. They have signed great players, including experienced elements and talented youngsters. Joao Miranda and Jeison Murillo are so good in defence,” said Milito, who has very good memories of his time at the San Siro. In his first season at the club, Milito helped Inter win the famous treble. He has since returned to Argentine league where he plays for Racing Club.
